Eduardo Galeano

Eduardo Galeano was a Uruguayan journalist, writer, and novelist whose work focused on the political and economic history of Latin America. His most famous work, Open Veins of Latin America (1971), became a landmark text synthesizing the history of exploitation and resource extraction across the continent.
